Monitoring of grinding condition in drum mills based on resulting shaft torque

Grinding is the most energy-intensive process among all stages of raw material preparation and determines course subsequent ore beneficiation stages. Level electricity consumption determined in accordance with load characteristics forming as a result destruction mill. Mill drum speed one variables due to which it possible control mechanisms when choosing operation mode adjustable electric mill drive. This study on increasing energy efficiency using drive based integrated modelling equipment – grinding electromechanic process. Evaluating torque by means its decomposition into spectrum, condition identified changing signs frequency components spectrum; studying electromagnetic drive, monitored. Evaluation selection efficient obtained spectrum torque. Research results showed that impact energy, values are comparable for assigned simulation parameters. From spectra obtained, identify fill level. approach allows evaluating changes parameters electromechanical system. Changing will increase productivity reducing time not lead growth consumption. Integration digital models technological automated system basis developing methods monitoring evaluation entire chain beneficiation.
